Amsterdam-City of Cheese & Weed

Amsterdam is one of my favorite citys in Europe-I love the Netherlands anyway. Last weekend, it has been my third time visiting this gorgeous city and even the sun shined.
Together with my sister, mum & dad, my exchange student Martina and her friend Lali, we drove 3 hours till we arrived.

The first problem was finding a cheap car place but in the end we payed 30€ for one day-no wonder everyone's cycling. Every time I'm here, I can't get used to it crossing the street and thousands of bikes are driving as fast as they can without even thinking to stop.
Both argentinians found it really funny that we were directly offered weed at the first market we went to. Cannabis lollys, t-shirts...this city is full of drugs!

But apart from that, Amsterdam is much more than this. When you are walking along the Krachten, watching the little boats driving by and some buildings are just one metre big, you feel like in a little, sweet book.
The "Bloommarkt" is also one of the must-see highlights here. A huge market only selling flowers, tulips and cannabis seeds.

Another typical thing in Holland is, of course, CHEESE! Everywhere you could taste cheese in all types, tastes and sizes. After every shop we went to, I was full of cheese.

Thousands of shops with souvenirs from Amsterdam: the main motive: weed of course

Bye Amsterdam, I'll see you soon again!
